Chewy Chocolate Biscuits

Chewy Chocolate Biscuits
75g melted butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1 egg
1 c flour
1/2 tsp baking solda
1/2 c chocolate chips

Mix butter and sugar. Add egg. Mix in other ingredients. Bake 180 degrees Celsius for 8-10 min.

Does beating the butter make the end product crispy rather than chewy?

I've never tried beating the butter. I've always melted the butter (less work). You could try beating the butter and see what the results are. If it's better, then please let me know!
