NOT to tell

My friend's marriage of 9 years has just ended due to the husband playing around. When she told her mother, the mother said she had known about two of the affairs. One lady lived next door to her friend and she used to see him coming and going sometimes. My friend is angrier at her mother than her husband.

Another friend's husband tried to kiss me once and I didn't tell her. Now he has made a pass at another girl in our group and she asked me what to do.

Who would tell their friend/daughter about these events? Is it not wanting to be the bearer of bad news, not knowing how to approach the subject, or manners? Why is it not our place to say anything?

Hoooo, I wouldnt touch this one with a ten foot barge pole!

I was being given the run around when I was married and I didnt know. My friend at the time had spotted my ex at a club getting jiggy with some no-name and well...she kept this information to herself. She only told me when I left my ex with my hands thrown up in defeat saying "enough is enough!"

Initially I was a little "WTF" about why she didnt tell me, but when I had a good chance to think about it I figured...mmm, well, I am glad she let me make the decision on my own. Afterall who was supposed to know my ex better than me...and if I didnt, then I was already on the wrong footing.

If this happen to my friend I won't tell either I rather be blind/deaft rather than be a reason of a big fight that could end to braking the relationship.
