If you are asking on this forum you're probably above the sandpaper block sharpening mode. DO NOT use one of the standard store-bought sharpeners, and check that any sharpening facility does not use them (I've seen a sharpening [dis]service using them!). The higher quality your knife the more professional the sharpening facility you need.
If you have basic decent kitchen knives, you can buy a sharpening steel from a kitchen department of a decent store (as fine grain as possible). Remember that you cannot sharpen serrated knives on them.
If you find nothing in Singapore, order a stone over the internet and look up and learn techniques. Stones are better than steels. It's not that difficult, provided you have patience.
