We are moving to Singapore in May and I ahve just been given a list of content on DVD's that will be subject to censorship when we clear our things through customs.......and I am really worried I might loose my collection.
I dont have any porn etc but do have box sets of James Bond, Desperate Housewives, CSI, House, Absolutely Fabulous and general Hollywood movies. The Dutchess, Bourne Identity, Pulp Fiction etc etc.
So nothing controversial anywhere else.
HOWEVER the list I was givien by the shipping company really did rule out all the above.
Some extreame examples are movies containing...
Anti social themes - Vandalism, Crime, Hippyism (!)
Violence - repeated hitting/punching/Kicking _ Thats Quantum of Solace out !!
Sex - sexually ecstatic facial expressions......
Is this accurate ?? Has anyone else had problems with these items ??
How do I decide what I can bring and what I should just ship back to the UK ??? I will submit a full list of the DVD's i will bring so but don't want to loose them......I have a huge collection as we have been in Hong Kong for 3 years and the TV here is terribel so I have become Amazon's fave customer.....
Any advice is appreciated.
