Singapore Cost of Living

I know I can google stuff, but would like to have feedback from real people who's living the life...

Are in process of negotiating package, would like to know if SGD 60k pa for housing, SGD 24k for car lease, SGD 10k for schooling are sufficient. We're 3 in the family, would prob live in Ang Mo Kio (close to French school for our 3yr old), 2-income family. Hubby's the one with the expat package.

Any other hidden costs - I heard some intnat schools charge a SGD 15k "placement guarantee" fee - is this true ? Is a live-in maid the norm or can we have a daily nanny cum maid (former would mean requiring a bigger house/apartment).

We're not bourgeois nor demanding btw eg a 80m² apartment would do us fine (or is a house the norm ?)

What u r getting is enough for a normal life style and what u state u want and need, its okay. I'm a Singaporean and you can be sure that u can get a good life with what u r being offer.
A condo now cos about 5k a month not city area. car is about 2k for a nice car not BMW or Benz.
as for school you might have to put in a little more. Maid is Normal and u can get on for about 12k plus Government tax and that's for live in Maid from Philippines or Indonesian.
