I might be wrong but as far as I know, when you record anything like phone convo or a meeting where you are part of it then its admissble in court. shoe girl is right but only in cases of evesdropping, where the ICAC is tapping phones of other people, then you neeed court order.
I am not sure of the laws in HK but I did my law degree in UK and practiced it in other country and this is how it goes.
The basic important point is that ONE of the people involved in the conversation KNNOWS that the conversation is being recorded.
