I am wondering if anyone knows what the privacy laws in HK are regarding the use of unautherised photographs of my child on the internet. It's not anything underhanded. Last year I ordered a product with a personal family photo on it. I have just come accross this particular item on the companys web site. They are using a personal moment in their advertising, and making money from this. We were never asked permission, nor informed in any way. I find it an invasion of privacy, as it a private family photo. In Australia, you can't even take a photo of a child without asking for consent. I will be contacting the company first thing in the morning, but would like to know my legal rights. Any help would be most appreciated.
