Notary / Commissioner of Oathes

Are they the same here in HK? We require something to be signed / chopped by a Notary.

No - In Canada, all lawyers are Commissioner of Oaths and Notaries. However, in Hong Kong not all lawyers are Notaries. I havent come across the term Commissioner of Oaths in Hong Kong. Call some of the large firms - they usually have a few notaries.
