Veritas meaning TRUTH in Latin is the guiding principle for our work with this new medium of communication. With the advent of the Internet and the potential for information exchange on a scale never seen before, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore wishes to establish its presence in this frontier of technology - cyberspace.
Our objective is to make available on the Internet the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, services and activities of the Roman Catholic Church in Singapore.We believe that by networking and taking advantage of what technology has to offer, we will be able to contribute to a meaningful dialogue towards the humanisation of society and the world.
In so doing, we hope to provide a platform for genuine communication which, if conducted in sincerity and mutual respect, can help bring about universal peace and goodwill. |
